Photography Janette Beckman.

THE ROLLING STONES - UK TOUR, 1971.

Original tour poster, 20"x30"
Art by John Pasche.

Appropriately known as the "Good-Bye Britain Tour", this was their first proper UK tour since 1966, launched just before their disastrous tax affairs forced them into the two year exile that was to result in the recording of 'Exile On Main Street'.

Reproductions exist - this is the genuine original poster.

£650.00 conservation framed.

ABC - POISON ARROW, 1982.

THE HUMAN LEAGUE - DARE, 1981.

Original A & M promo poster, 35"x23"
Design Ken Ansell, photography Brian Aris.

'Dare' was the first really successful mixing of electronic sounds with pure pop and was a huge, almost inescapable, hit in the UK and the US. It effectively marked the end of post-Punk experimentalism and waved ashore the on-coming tidal wave of 80's pop.

TALKING HEADS, REMAIN IN LIGHT, 1980

Original Sire promo poster 18"x36"
Design by Tibor Kalman.

Scarce original promo poster for Talking Heads' brilliant fourth album, arguably their best, revealing the full development of their earlier Afro-polyrhythmic experiments. Their last collaboration with Brian Eno, they re-emerged three years later with an increasingly commercial sound.

THE JAM - IN THE CITY, 1977.

Original Polydor promo poster, 20"x30"
Photography Martyn Goddard, design Bill Smith.

The Jam's energetic debut was an immediate attention grabber, which they famously found hard to develop from for the ever-tricky second lp. The title track was one of Punk's enduring early classics, whilst 'Away From The Numbers' pointed towards Weller's future songwriting maturity. This poster is in excellent rolled condition.
